Recycling Services for Patients
About the program
For patients receiving their peritoneal dialysis from Baxter Healthcare, Baxter can help manage waste through an easy recycling program. Currently more than 935 Home PD patients across ANZ are benefiting from this service.
The Baxter delivery driver will drop off renal fluids and ancillaries required for dialysis therapy as well as remove cardboard and recyclable plastics from the patient’s home.
The patient simply places recyclable material into the bins provided, ready for collection at the next delivery.
Who can participate?
Any patient who lives in a metropolitan area and has their therapy dropped off by a Baxter Delivery Driver is eligible for the program.
